Some Gun Stuff
So, now I'm working two jobs and going to school. Meh. No big deal.
There's a guy who wrote an article called "The 10 Manliest Firearms".
It's not a bad list. Some things could be added in place of some others. I dunno. I think of guns along the same lines as people think of hand tools. Each one has a different purpose and you use each one differently.
He's got the Barret listed as Number 1. He forgot to add the "Boys .55 Caliber Anti Tank Rifle."
I'd probably add the "Liberator" to the list too. A gun made for people behind enemy lines to use to get guns from the enemy is pretty darned manly.
I really like the authors' rant about the M16. Some compelling arguments there.
I think I'm going to take the Taurus "Judge" off my Christmas List thanks to "Old Painless". He posted a thread on ArfCom about the gun and he shows why it would be a waste of money unless you live in rattlesnake country.
I'm going to stick with my plan for getting an IBM manufactured M1 Carbine.

Mike....
Since you're speaking of firearms, take a look at one of our former Presidents and how HE used a gun...
